The reviews are trickling in for Microsoft's Surface Book, their first true laptop offering, and they're pretty encouraging. I think we finally have an apples-to-apples competitor (save for the OS) to the MacBook Air and Pro in terms of overall build quality and engineering, and the ability to detach from the keyboard for a true tablet experience is compelling.
Plus, with the announcement that Dell will be providing an enterprise sales and support channel, we can confidently deploy these to clients without complicated vendor relationships.
The only downside so far? The price. They're pretty damn expensive, but for an executive that wants the best possible PC notebook experience, plus the tablet features, it looks like a worthy pick.
